Homemade Aloo Capsicum Sabzi Recipe

Ingredients :

  • 2 green capsicum cut into cubes

  • 2 big potatoes cut into cubes

  • 1 tsp chopped ginger

  • a pinch of asefodita

  • t tsp jeera (cumin ) seeds

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 tsp red chilli powder

  • 1 tsp coriander powder

  • 1 tsp jeera (cumin ) powder

  • 1 tsp garam masala

  • 1/2 tbsp amchur ( mango powder)

  • salt as per taste

  • some coriander leaves chopped for garnishing

Method:

  1. Heat 2-3 tbsp oil in a kadai or pan, add asefodita and jeera when it splutters add the turmeric powder then add the chopped potatoes.

  2. Cover and cook stirring at intervals till the potatoes are soft.

  3. Add all the dry spices without the amchur powder and give it a good mix.

  4. Lastly add the chopped green capsicum . Cover and cook for 4-5 minutes till the capsicum are soft but crunchy.

  5. Then add the amchur powder and garnish with coriander leaves.

    Serve this tasty sabzi with paratha or chapati .
