Homemade Aam Panna Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 raw mangoes boiled ( equal to 1 cup mango pulp)

  • 1 tsp chopped ginger

  • 8 -9 mint leaves

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 tsp pepper powder

  • 1 tsp roasted cumin powder

  • 1 tsp black or rock salt

  • salt as per taste

Method:

  1. Wash the mangoes thourghly in water and then in a pressure cooker take 4 cups water and boil the raw mangoes upto 4-5 whistles.

  2. Remove from the cooker and when cooled remove l the skin . With a spoon scoop out the pulp from the mangoes.

  3. In a grinder add the mango pulp, sugar, mint leaves and ginger. Grind into a fine paste.

  4. Sieve the paste and then add the pepper powder, roasted cumin powder, black salt and salt. Mix well and store this concentrated pulp in a glass bottle in the refrigerator for future use.

    How to serve : In a glass add 2-3 tbsp or as per your taste the concentrated mango paste then pour some cold water, drop a few ice cubes in it and a mint leaf.
